Our Mission

Happy Dogs Surf Shop is a local organization led by Long Island college students founded in 2024. Our goal is to support animal shelters by funding additional food and medical care and sponsoring animal-related events. We offer a variety of high-quality t-shirts and hoodies, with designs that pay homage to the joy and spirit of fun-loving dogs. With a mission to make a difference, the shop not only sells clothing but also raises awareness about the importance of animal rescue and adoption. Whether you're a surfer, a dog lover, or simply someone who appreciates a good cause, Happy Dogs Surf Shop invites you to ride the wave of compassion and make a positive impact in the lives of dogs everywhere.

Our Cause

Running a shelter involves significant costs for food, water, utilities, and shelter maintenance. As the number of animals per shelter continues to grow more than 11% for dogs each year, the costs continue to increase, making it harder to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the animals. Beyond these daily operations, many shelters offer essential programs and services to connect potential families with their forever dogs. Adoption programs help reduce the number of strays and address overpopulation issues. Additionally, educational outreach initiatives raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering, ultimately creating a more compassionate community. By supporting these efforts, we can significantly impact the shelter's ability to serve both the animals in its care and the broader animal-loving community. This holistic approach underscores the importance to help expand and improve these services.
